I have actually never shot fireworks, well not intentionally anyway. The band rotunda is a classic Adelaide icon. And there was a massive crowd where I was so I was really stoked with the results.

Searching for the Ball of Light has taken me to some beautiful locations. The locations I enjoy the most are both stunning to view and warm my heart……….
Cambodia is a country steeped in ancient history. The temples of Siem Reap are a wonder of the world, and I have no doubt a location the Ball of Light will shine brightly.
The full moon takes place on the 2nd of August, and we will be there enjoying a slower pace and breathing in the amazing history of Siem Reap. Join us on this mysterious journey searching for the Ball of Light.

Denis Smith Photography is starting to prepare our 3 day possie at the Bowerbird Bazaar 28-30th October.
We will be located in the main hall in the middle at stall #53. This will be our third Bowerbird event and we’re still looking forward to it as if it was the first!
If you have never attended then it is well worth the effort if you live in South Australia. We guarantee you will not be disappointed with the selection of designers exhibiting!
Kyrie and I are heading on an adventure tomorrow to Munich. Part of the trip is regarded as work and the rest is PLAY. But to be honest the whole trip is going to be amazing. I am being interviewed by Red Bull Media for the local European TV network about the Ball of Light photographic project. This amazing place Hallstatt (pictured above) is one of the incredible locations we are hoping to visit. We think the Ball of Light will fit quite well into the Alps!
