SALA LIGHT PAINTING WORKSHOPS

As part of the SALA (South Australian Living Artist) month at Peter Lehman Wines we will be holding 3 incredible light painting workshops. Held over the weekend of the August full moon we will be combining food, wine and photography to bring you a workshop experience like never before. 

Whether you are an experienced light painter, or a complete novice to photography, we will take you on a journey you will never forget. This is hands on, so you will be creating the images and leave at the end of the night with a memory card full of your creations.

Throughout the night the team at Peter Lehmanns will be paring many of their stunning wines with foods as we wander the winery grounds, accessing special locations to help create our ethereal and wonderful images.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

THEORY PRESENTATION
We will cover the basics of Light Painting theory. Why we set the camera the way we do, what is involved in preparing and capturing the images.

FOUR COURSE ROAMING DINNER WITH MATCHED WINES
With local Barossa fare and stunning Peter Lehmann wines to match we will be treated through the night to absolute delicious food. The winery is not holding back and this will add such a spark to the evening!

SIX HOURS OF HANDS ON LIGHT PAINTING
Living Light Barossa is all about you. This exclusive event will have a maximum group of 12 participants accompanied by your own Light Painting Mentor. They will be right by your side working with you to create magic. You will move through 4 zones each designed to maximize the experience. This is an amazing location, and the food and wine will be stunning!

LIGHT PAINTING TOOLS
We provide a massive range of light painting tools that cover all aspects of the art form. We show you some advanced highly developed tools along with some simple items you can make at home.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Here are the basics that you will need to bring with you to the workshop:

  • Camera capable of at least a 30 second exposure (if you do not won a camera, we can supply one)
  • A remote, or intervalometer (not essential, but very handy)
  • A Tripod
  • Dark Clothing
  • SD Memory Card
