THE GYPSY WITH VINKO
VINKO is an Adelaide based artist who creates the most stunning large-scale public artworks. He also happens to be an incredible tattoo artist and photographer.
An idea that had been germinating between us for a few years was finally realised under a remote bridge in rural South Australia:
A gypsy looking into a crystal Ball of Light.
What a few days it was.
This was one of those projects where the adventure of making the work became every bit as memorable as the finished image. Remote locations, long nights, police, angry farmers, all part of the story.
