LIGHT PAINTING WORKSHOPS
Sharing what I’ve learned about light painting over the past 15+ years is one of the great joys of my life. Doing it in person takes that joy to another level.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a seasoned professional, or someone looking to reconnect with your creative self, I can guide you on the journey.
All of our workshops share a few core qualities: they are safe, inviting, and welcoming spaces where you're encouraged to push the boundaries of both technical ability and personal expression. You have permission to be vulnerable, to fail, and to play. There are no silly questions—and you're free to go as wild as you like, because that's where the magic happens.
Throughout the year, I’ll be adding some exciting new events to this page. I'm always open to ideas—if you have a group and would like to create a custom experience, just reach out and we’ll design something unique together.

On my way to BFOP this year, I am spending a bit of time in Melbourne, so I thought let’s connect for a day of love, light and laughs at the incredible FABRIK. Although it is a big space, I am limiting the numbers to 12 to give us space, and time to connect properly.
This workshop is suitable for every skill level. If you’ve never tried light painting before, we’ll step you through everything you need to know. If you’re already an experienced light painter, this remarkable location will offer plenty of creative possibilities and new challenges.
I have developed an incredible workshop that includes:
The basics of light painting theory
A huge array of tools to use
Auto art (we will have a motorcycle on hand)
How to create all the basic light painting techniques, including the Ball of Light
Light painting portraits
Camera rotation (this will blow you away)
I will have my “DUALITY” rig setup (see the series HERE)
As always we look at the connection between photography, art and positive mental health
You’ll also receive a comprehensive pre-workshop video, so you can arrive prepared and ready to start creating.
